This customer decided to rebuild almost the entire home! From new plumbing, electric, windows, gutters, soffits, roof, siding, deck, and customizing the inside of the home with a new million dollar view of Old Hickory Lake. The amount of remodeling that went into this home I have never seen before. It was great to work alongside experts in the field and make this giant project a success.
The old siding was just cedar boards going straight into the studs of the home. We had to install new sheathing around the entire home, including fixing some studs in the walls due to water damages. New James Hardie siding is heavy material, and a solid foundation is needed or there will be many issues without it. A manufacture requirement. We also installed the James Hardie Shake Style Siding on the front near the second story windows in color "Espresso".
We had to replace many decking boards around old skylights and chimney. Major leaks caused a lot of damage around these areas. We added custom flashing around the chimney and installed new Velux Skylights. We did not install the windows but Pella did an amazing job, and these windows looked and operated very well. So we decided to also start selling Pella windows after this project.
This is what they call a Full Standing Seam Metal Roofing System. This roof will last a lifetime, including a 30yr paint warranty, and a 100yr life warranty on materials, flashings, and labor. You can't beat a more solid roof than this roofing system installed correctly! This roof, siding, and gutter project took roughly three weeks to complete.
