Our Siding Installation Process for a home in Nashville, Tennessee
Choosing Your Style
We start by helping you pick the exact siding color and style you want. There are plenty of options, and we’ll bring samples so you can see them up close. Many homeowners also choose to update their soffits, fascia, or gutters at the same time so everything matches perfectly.
Pricing & Payment Options
Once we know what you’d like, we’ll put together a full estimate. To lock in your project, we ask for a 10% down payment, with the remaining balance due when the work is finished. If you prefer financing, we also offer a $0 down, 12-month no-interest option.
Materials & Scheduling
Your materials are delivered directly to your home, usually in the driveway or wherever you prefer. We’ll then set an installation date. The only factor that might delay us is weather. When the forecast looks good, we’ll also drop off a roll-away dumpster, typically placed in your driveway or on the street. Then it’s go-time!

Removing Old Siding & Inspecting the Home
We begin by carefully removing your old siding to expose the sheathing underneath. This lets us check for any water or termite damage.
If minor damage is found, we’ll replace the affected boards right away.
If this is an insurance claim, your policy often covers replacement sheathing.
If you’re paying out-of-pocket, we include up to three replacement boards.
If we uncover major damage, we’ll walk you through what we found and explain the repair process before moving forward.

Installing Underlayment
Next, we install a moisture-resistant underlayment around your home. This adds an extra layer of protection and insulation. In Tennessee’s hot, humid climate, even a small R-value helps lower energy bills. The underlayment goes beneath the siding, around windows, and next to trim. We’ll also install starter strips, flashings, and channels to ensure the siding panels fit securely. If soffits are part of your project, we’ll add the proper F-channel supports. And don’t worry, if rain moves in before the siding goes up, the underlayment will still protect your home.

Installing the New Siding
Finally, it’s time to install your new siding panels. We start at the bottom and work our way up, overlapping seams so they’re hidden from the street. Corners are cut cleanly and finished with trim to keep everything tight and storm-ready. Because vinyl siding expands and contracts with the seasons, we leave a little room in our nailing and spacing. Areas around HVAC units, electrical panels, and windows are carefully sealed with caulk to keep water out. Siding is designed with weep holes that let small amounts of moisture escape from behind the panels, this is normal and helps keep your home dry. When we’re done, you’ll have a clean, durable, and great-looking exterior built to last in Tennessee’s weather. We finish the Metal Fascia Capping, Gutters, and Soffits once the siding is completed.
