A new blue house for the owner of Music City Grip & Electric

I decided to start posting about projects and the processes during installations. I am going to start uploading photos so that home owners can get a better understanding of what to expect before we start their project. I am no writer by any means, but I hope you enjoy this brief overview!

This is a home in East Nashville, Tennessee where we took off the old yellow vinyl siding, and installed the full James Hardie siding system. We also were able to take out the old gables and cover them with new siding. We included the new James Hardie soffits and metal facia capping around the home. We are going to install 6" Seamless Gutters next to match this white metal fascia capping and white trim.

This James Hardie color is called "Evening Blue" in the James Hardie cedarmill plank design Statement Color Collection. It is becoming a popular color for the medium blue yet deep appearance. According to the James Hardie website, this siding will not burn, and will not be bothered by termites, woodpeckers, or those annoying carpenter bees that fly around all over Nashville, Tennessee. We also cap all areas so there are not entrances for those brown and yellow wasps that attack me for no reason.

We installed white trims around windows and corners of the home, and both vented and solid James Hardie soffits. White trim is the most common with James Hardie. However, we can get creative and design the home in almost any color. It costs more, but James Hardie has a Dream Collection of colors that you can choose from. Projects take roughly 3-5 days based on size, weather, and complexity. The customer financed most of the project, and put a percent of it up front, making it much easier to start.
